Guided Onboarding & Cleff Skill for AI Assistants
This week brings a guided path from signup to sandbox, a skill that helps your AI coding assistant integrate Cleff, and more reliable approval timestamps.New
- Cleff skill for AI assistants: You can now give Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any assistant that reads a URL the Cleff skill. It wires Cleff Payouts into your existing project using your current language and HTTP client. Install the skill
- Guided business profile setup: Until your Business submits its profile, the dashboard opens on a welcome page and a step-by-step profile wizard. The wizard ends with a review step where you confirm your details and consent in a single Submit. Submitting unlocks the rest of the dashboard and funds your sandbox with test money. Learn more
Improvements
- Teammate invites during setup: While your profile is in progress, you can invite a teammate who holds your registration details as an admin. Members who aren’t admins see a waiting page until the profile is submitted. View dashboard docs
- Verification status in Settings: Your verification status now appears under Settings > Company instead of a banner on the dashboard home. View Go live
- Signup asks about your payouts: Signup has a new Getting to know you step. It asks about your monthly payout volume, typical payout size, who you pay, and how many payees live outside the US. This helps us tailor your onboarding.
- Server-stamped approval times: Cleff now stamps
evaluated_atwhen it records a payout approval or rejection. Anyevaluated_atyou send onPOST /v1/payouts/{payoutId}/decisions,/approve, or/rejectis accepted and ignored. Your existing requests keep working. View idempotency rules
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the last dropdown on the signup form was cut off at the bottom of the card.
